How did the romans eat? 


Within the exhibition of our thermoplium, we do the following activities:

  • "archeorecipes", that is ancient food and dressings made according to the original recipes; some dishes are prepared or baked in place;
  • display and teaching place - with multilingual support - about the food and all the ingredients and implements used for the making;
  • tasting of bakery, dressings, flavours, spices, cheese, meat and wine.

      Every detail of our activity is based on the knoledge of the ancient wine and food reality and everyting is made strictly in accordance with the historical, literary, archaelogical and iconographical sources.
